Wow! This book was so heartwarming for many reasons. I loved how the relationship between these two built from employee/boss to friendship to more. In all that time you learn about what makes each person so unique and special. Ryland may be blind but he is successful, has a wonderful home, loving parents, a best friend and a huge crush on his PA. He has known Chandler for seven years, six of which Chan was assistant to Ry's father. Now that his dad retired, Chan is now the PA to Ry and has been for the past year. Chandler has been the soul parental figure for his three siblings since their parents passed seven years ago. During this time he has worked for Ry's family at their non-profit organization while harboring a secret crush on Ry. Due to insecurities and other distractions such as three siblings, these men do not believe they can be together. Luckily each has a best friend and family that lets them know that all of that is unfounded BS. When they finally start down the road of trying to be more than boss/employee, Ry fears that because he is blind he is not enough for Chan, crazy I know! As if that would be a deterrent against such an amazing person. Through trust, faith and the desire for true love like each of their parents has shown is possible both men go all in to see if they can have what their hearts desire. I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review. I fell in love with this book within the first 1/2 hour of reading and did not put it down except to mix a couple more martini's until I finished it. What a heart warming and enjoyable read! Here we have two families with major losses, two men working side by side to keep things running and support each other at the same time! Ryland does not let his blindness hold him back from doing his best at his work and everything else he can. While his PA, Chandler works hard to keep things running smoothly at work as well as supporting his younger siblings since his parents are gone. These two men were meant for each other!
